1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing the Community Volleyball League - Cvl website, registering a participant for our sports programs, or engaging in our training sessions and competitive events, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Community Volleyball League - Cvl regarding your use of our services, including our skills development tools and league play for athletes aged 7-18. If you do not agree with all of these terms, you are expressly prohibited from using the site or services and must discontinue use immediately.
2. Service Usage and Intellectual Property Rights
The Community Volleyball League - Cvl provides high-performance volleyball training and competitive environments. All content on our platform, including training curriculums, professional development tools for parent-coaches, logos, and proprietary skill-building methodologies, is the property of CVL and protected by intellectual property laws. Users are granted a limited license to access these materials for personal, non-commercial use related to their participation in the league.
- Users may not reproduce, distribute, or publicly display CVL’s professional training materials or curriculum for use in other sports clubs, schools, or commercial ventures without prior written consent.
- Participants and guardians must not use the service to harass, abuse, or harm other players, coaches, or staff, or to engage in any conduct that violates our league's code of sportsmanship.
- The use of CVL branding, logos, or team names for the creation of unauthorized merchandise or for the promotion of external travel teams and exorbitant-fee clubs is strictly prohibited.
3. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The services provided by Community Volleyball League - Cvl are provided on an 'AS IS' and 'AS AVAILABLE' basis. While we provide professional training tools to our parent-coaches, CVL does not guarantee specific athletic performance outcomes or post-secondary opportunities. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CVL, its directors, and volunteer coaches shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages, including physical injury inherent to sports participation, arising from your use of our services or participation in league activities.
4. Governing Law, Changes, and Contact Information
These Terms and Conditions and your use of the service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Community Volleyball League - Cvl operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any changes by updating the 'effective date' of these terms. Your continued participation in the league or use of our website after such changes signifies your acceptance of the new terms.
